![]() Also, as someone else has mentioned, the game has been 'modernised'. To put it plainly, it's not as easy to aim and kill stuff on this game. Also the controls don't feel as 'smooth' as other first person games i've played such as Halo and Call of Duty. The negatives are that loading times are awful, if you die then expect to wait about 30 seconds to respawn from your last checkpoint (very annoying when you're playing the game on the hardest difficulty!). I love the way you can go completely off topic and do random things such as weight-lift, box, play pinball, use slot machines and of course, use the toilet, all of which increase your health (ego) bar by a small amount. ![]() I think it's pretty good! the graphics are half decent and the storyline is enjoyable and commical, exactly what i was expecting. The game itself - i cant believe it's recieved such bad reviews. ![]() It's all good quality but it seems that the makers have crammed a load of cheap things into a small box to give value for money. All of the other stuff is quite nice but i cant see myself having much use for it - two wooden poker chips, red dice with a Duke emblem, a half sized pack of cards, a comic, pictures of Duke and a concept art book. ![]() It's about two-thirds the height of a dvd case if youre wondering. The bust of Duke - the main reason why i and most others bought this - is very well made, it looks good on display and isn't cheap and hollow like some may expect. Oh yeah, this game has very long loading screens and it can be unforgiving hard at times, be warned. This game is like friend whom does not have the best body odor and never has any money in his pockets,īut sometimes it's good times when he's around. The statue looks much smaller than they portray, the dice are of poor quality and the playing cards The Balls of Steel - Collectors Edition is what you should get if your a fan of the Duke.Īgain, not because of the quality but just to celebrate something that seemed impossible. However this "love letter" consist of dirty jokes and bad grammar. To all the fans that waited to see the Duke again. There's only one reason to buy this game and to not get disappointed afterwards:īuy Duke Nukem Forever to celebrate that it eventually came out.ĭNF is far from a perfect game and sometimes it's hard to imagine that they worked 15 years on it.īut if you look past all it's imperfections you might discover a fun game.ĭuke Nukem Forever is filled with tongue in cheek humor and essentially is a love letter To learn more about how and for what purposes Amazon uses personal information (such as Amazon Store order history), please visit our Privacy Notice.
